i thought the most logical explanation was a bird of prey took it and dropped it? lmao@ the thought of an owner just doing a drive by toss of a fish into a tree
I work with fish and we see a lot of them that have had close encounters with birds of prey (usually ospreys). Their backs are not pretty. Raptors have pretty large talons that leave some pretty distinctive wounds. I don't see any on the back of this guy.
I have no idea how it "fell out of a tree" but I'd put money on it not being a bird.
