I can believe that! I'm thinking that a trigger fish could take out a mantis shrimp if the trigger knew where the shrimp was hiding in advance. Triggers are smart, loaded with stealth and have the right equipment to rip up crustaceans.
 
how about a full grown bagarius yarelli vs 6' gator gar. my moneys on the bagarius.
