yes, this is my principle of fish keeping. I really love that natural look of the tanks - seems like a part of wilderness in a room at home! If the plants are used to live in the tank one have nearly no work with clean up the tank - only some home-garden efforts. the plants also do their duties in filtering these dangerous nitrates / nitrit.
Last not least it' s a matter of aesthetics - like a water garden ...
I suppose it is not enough to have a good camera only - one must know how to use then have beautiful fish AND awesome set-up. You have all three, Uwe ^^ AWESEOME photo skills
PS: I just got the cool fish with semi-ugly set-up. <sigh> even with my cousin's super expensive Nikon the pix were crappy ^^ but then i had no idea how to use that beast of the camera
