Just curious if anyone tastes their fish food. When I used to work in a fish store the other fish guy and me tried some Red Algae sheets for Saltwater fish. Tasted like Nori (seaweed). Just the other week, my Dad gave me some dried shrimp to see if the fish would eat it. They didn't seem to like it so we both ate the Freeze-Dried Shrimp to see if there was a difference in the 2 brands that I currently feed them. One of them tasted pretty good. I could eat that as a snack myself. :D

i would never do it, fish food doesnt even smell good.

Haha, I do that all the time... I've eaten a brine shrimp before to test the salinity of the water. You couldn't even feel it squirming on your tongue.

:P

Notta. Cannot do it. Of course my wife's pooch loves it...but he also enjoys licking his ***.

Actually, yea, I do it, but I wouldn't recommend it. I taste tested my water for salinity and felt a little queasy a few hours later.

Once by accident. When I was a kid I was feeding some fish while holding a can of pop. I took a drink and discovered that I had put flake food in my mouth instead.

I also taste tested the fluid from a brine shrimp cube once to see if it was salty. I spit it out and used mouth wash after.

Um..... NO! Funny though, I have a mini Schnauzer that spends hours licking the carpet and tile near the tanks.
