Fish For 75 Gallon tank

Im new to this website so please foregive me if this is in the wrong section. I was thinking about getting a 75 gallon tank and was wondering what fish i could keep in it i just want one big fish. I really like snakeheads but thoes aren't a option since their illegal in the US so i was wondering what would be another option that would work in this size tank also i live in Nebraska so if you know were i could get the type of fish you suggest please add that to.

dont go oscar, i have a wild orinoco oscar, for 6 months now, still hides, scared of everything i cant even feed him myself, he eats when im away, worse fish ever...gonna get rid of mine, if someone will take it...
 
All the oscars I have had are really interactive an fun to keep. I would do a Oscar or red devil or Midas in that size tank.
 
Could you keep a tiger oscar and a red devil together i herd the red devil will kill everything but i really like them both

Not a chance in a 75...one or the other and personally I believe they both need larger unless female. Convict, firemouth, sal, etc...

Gulper catfish. You could keep 2 or 3 I think.... youtube some videos of it. You WILL want one.... I know I do.
 
So could i get like 2 of the same species like 2 oscar or 2 red devils in a 75 (sorry im new to this) i would have 300+gps filter and do a 10% or more water chage a week
