Fish For 75 Gallon tank

For what you are wanting I would go with a 125 tank. A 75 is not ideal for 2 fish that are 12+" in length to live without the very high probability of a problem with it later down the road. Another option is a stand that holds two 75's one on top and another underneath.

If you want just couple fish (1-3) I'd do a large cichlid (Oscar), a nice pleco of somesort, and an african lungfish. Three large fish that won't outgrow the tank and can live together and occupy all levels.

Why not do datnoid and clown loachs. It takes time to get them out but
they do some cool stuff.
