Hi,
Just wondering if there were any fish that are not to hard to breed and can make a bit of cash from selling the fry or semi adult fish. Thanks Karl

Usually the cash is proportional to difficulty in breeding, and what sells at a given time depends on what's trending at the moment. Start somewhere and keep shifting between species as you gain confidence.

Just as above said depends on fish I had a breeding pair of jags depending on the size I got anywhere from $1-3 a fry but those are common fish now breed certain kind of pleco or rays and the money goes up but then you have to look at cost of parents it's cheaper to get young sub adults but then sexing is an issue and growing them up takes time and depending on the fish you may need a large tank

I'd have to say convicts(cheap upfront). You won't make much per fry but they are really good at breeding alot. I had a pair put out 20 sets of fry back to back. I couldn't get rid of them fast enough(most ended up being food).

Edit: Didn't see the Australia part

Frontosa from the more rare collection points (moba, kitumba, kapampa) are easy to breed but you need a large set up (200 gallon plus) and they cost a pretty penny (hence making the money on fry) mpimbwe are a little less expensive.

I was going to start breeding them but they where very inactive and I got bored with them.

I don't know about fry or juvies. But, it seems to me that you make A LOT more selling a 6-8 inch fish than a juvie. Figure a way to grow em out and sell em large?

Fry actually are more profitable, as growing a fish to few 100 gm of Weight will consume a lot in terms of food ,power and space.
I would recommend getting your hands on apistos and drawf cichlids , they breed relatively easy . You can have a few racks of reasonable dimensions. if you can specialize and offer a few different species of drawfs , you might see some descent cash roll by.
Cheers !

Edit: don't forget to buy a good camera and brush up your photography skills to keep the Facebook crowd excited with great pics of your fish.
I think this would be the single most useful tip for you in your endeavour.
Best of luck !
