Fish for classroom tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would say some bass. Small mouth or large mouth. If you got them small from a store (say 2-4") they would just be out growing that 55 in June and ready for your 180.

I am sorry but I completely disagree with most of the suggestions such as Bass, Datnoids, or Frantosas because they simply get too big. Generally teachers love to go with Goldfish but I really thing that would be a bad choice. I would add to the African Cichlid suggestion – they look cute, have so many different colors, and are very active.

A Pair of Green Terrors.

I will have a large enough tank for the fronts at home when school is out. I really don't care for goldfish, just never have. I'm thinking possibly about some smaller tanganykians such as Julies and n. lelupi or brichardi.
