in the tank there are 6 african cichlids about 3-4" in length 2 bluegills same size as the africans and 1 bullhead catfish at about 2-2.5". how many days will i be able to feed feeder fish?

I haven't bred convicts so I don't know how many feeders you will end up with, but i think the tank should finish off a lot of fry in a day. I know bluegill will eat and eat and eat. Just make sure you keep giving them some flake food or something else with a little vegetable/fiber in it.
im gonna pick up some baby convicts tommorow from my friend. im gonna raise a few as breeders and the rest as feeders. im gonn use my 20 for the parents, my 5.5 for the babies at first and then a new 20gallon pond i should be setting up sometime this month.
well iv already managed to lose two convicts in my 90. so i have 2 cons in my 90 and 9 or 10 in my 5.5. How do i get my fish to kill and eat them instead of just chase them into a crack?
well, the con feeders i will use every so often are still kinda 'tadpoles'.
some will definitely get away and manage to dodge around for a couple of days before finally being eaten. i've only had one con who managed to stick around and grow out in a tank. (took out a juvie fh lol) so they should get em soon. wish i knew more about feeders to help you out.
