i have been fishing alot latly and catching 18 -22 inch trout browns and rainbows and because we dont want the trash can to smell so we freeze the heads and the guts. i was wondering if i could grind up the fish remains and feed it to my fish. just an idea.

I think that would be messy.

I don't really know never had that idea before. I think you would just make a big mess if you ground them up, if you cut them into bite sized chunks it would probably be better. But IMO I think it would be a hassle either way.

Remember that you take a risk of introducing protozoal, and worm infections to your tank that way, Bag and freeze them until garbage day.

Valid points, I would shy away from that.
