  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
furthermore heres an article talks about loaches and the behavior that i talked about http://www.tfhmagazine.com/details/articles/loaches-riverine-acrobats-of-the-orient-part-1.htm just because you been on here for 6 years doesn't mean it doesn't or wont happen

I said I have not HEARD of anything like that. I didn't say it will not HAPPEN. Big difference in what I said. This took me by surprise because I am also a member of that loach forum but have never heard of anything like that. I will admit though I am not active there anymore.

While loches particularly the Dwarf Loach (Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki) which I have kept for the last 20 years (one of my favorite fish BTW) are excelent snail eaters they can not cure or eradacate a tank of ich. They will eat the tomonts in the substrate but can not as pointed out by Lupin eat the free swimming ich or eat the cysts off the fish. They love palnaria too. One of the best long term preventatives is a stable, clean environment and a UV sterilizer.
