My fishes went up to breath at the surface when temp rose last year, and I live in Belgium, we're talking 80°F, not 86. Needless to say I added enough air pumps for that to never happen, but I can see how fishes would suffer for a prolonged amount of time deprived of oxygen on top of the shock.
Fish heat stroke!!!
