Fish help

Hello this is my first post, please go easy on me I have recently bought two new fish.
The sign on the tank said "C.Occelaris" I asked if they had a commom name and the shop owner did'nt know.
Can anyone give me any info on these fish please.

Cichla Occelaris aka peacock bass. How much you pay and what size? Tank size?

I paid £5 each they are about 4" and they are in a 3' tank at the moment but i have a 6' for when the time comes.

nice pick up, it's not an ocellaris by the way, looks like a juvie Temensis, which mature at around 90cm or 3ft, they grow the fattest out of all cichla, congrats on a monster pick up
