problem with that is, the ends of the tubes need to be on the EXACT same level. it would only work if you had an above-ground pond and a fish tank on your first floor.
i'm setting mine up so that even if the water in the bridge empties into the tanks, the tanks won't overflow.
I love the whole concept of water bridges. But on a huge scale, having a large koi pond outside, and a massive pipe leading inside to a huge tank where its heated so the koi in winter can eat, In the heated tank. It'd be great.
I like it. Its an effect though. I think if a real fishkeeper did it the idea would be enhanced way beyond the pics we have seen. I mean imagine a tube that a 2' fish can swim through to get to the other side of the house.
hey i saw something like that but on a HUDGE scale at the rainforest caffe at Walt Disney World in Florida the first would swim over your heads and down these pipes and things it was madd kewl but the pipes were hudge and they had saltwater fish in them all the pipes joined this massive tank in the middle of the caffee i'll see if i can find some pictures
