The male festae is a brute! He grew from 3" to that size in ~1 year?!

How do you know it's a her? Odds are it is, but I'd like to grow it out more.

And yeah, I bought the festae at 2" on May 25th 2007. He's now close to 12", and is the most massive fish in the tank.

Thanks, they're some of my favorite. I've also got a black belt that I didn't get photos of, and have kept regani and zonatus in the past.

Yeah, A Place For Pets has several. Some wilds at 2" for $7, and some larger 3-4" ones for $16. I think I might go snap up a few wilds and see if I can get a female. They're on Aquabid under aplaceforpetsorg to see what they're selling.
