Hey guys I have a 72 gallon bow front reef aquarium with a 3.5 inch Midas Blenny, a percula pair, spotted Mandrain, and a yellow watchman Gobie. I was thinking about adding a school of Azure damsels, blue tang, flame angel and an exquisite fairy wrasse. Do you approve or if not what fish should I add?

Warning! Warning! Imminent Tang Police crackdown. This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill!!
-the general consensus is that tangs need 6'+ of swimming room minimum, something that the 72g bowfront doesn't have.
Personally, I'd just keep it at a flame angel and the fairy wrasse to minimize bioload. This would keep you with grazers (the angel), benthic carnivores (mandarin, clowns, and goby), and zooplanktivores (Midas blenny and fairy wrasse). I'd also add a pistol shrimp for the goby. I don't know what azure damsels are (species name?). I have a shoal of 4 Chrysiptera hemicyanea (Yellowbelly damsels) in my 29, and after they established a pecking order, everything's fine. However, C. hemicyanea is one of the less aggressive damsels out there. What's your filtration in the tank? Is it FOWLR? Or are there corals/inverts in there?

You could do a small nickel sized hippo tang and grow it out then trade it in if you don't want to keep it.

Itchyogeek has the right answer there in my opinion. I give you a 5050 chance on the flame not nipping your corals.
I wouldn't put a fish (the tang) in that you know you have to get rid of in a year.
Is the goby causing you problems now?
I find a skimmer a very valuable piece of equipment, and I won't run a system without one, but you don't have to, there are other ways.
