Ok I am going to go out on a limb and say that you counted the rays wrong. I would also agree with fathead minnow if the rays were right. Looks VERY similar just the # of rays is wrong.

Hmmm....I would still go with a fathead minnow. Just the normal color varient of the rosie red bascially. Keep it to cycle and be a nice little feeder for the real monsters you have coming.

YEAH! lol, 1 question do you think i can catch a small sunny at this time of the year, or a small bass with 2 traps out?

ok well... what size bass are you or sunny u talking about. Can they fit? And if so with frozen water IMO and expirience i have caught trout by breaking parts of frozen lakes and putting out power bait and waiting over night then checking the next morning. BUTin cold water they are HIGHLY lethargic. SO dont think its gonna happen in an hour wait a night maybe even too.

No question the fish are there. OBVIOUSLY cause u caught their food.
And they will have to eat.
And they will probably think of your trap as more structure than food
So bottom line is it will happen just take some more time then usual.

I am talking about small sized bass or sunnies, and yes they can, the hole is 2-2 1/2 inches, and i leave it for a day check it and so on.
