Most of my thai silk crosses looked like this. It's a fh or fh cross and that's that.
I don't need to Google anything, eb carpintis are just regular old carpintis.

Well for you not this time ??. It's just a flowerhorn mix. I doubt there is any texas or carpintis blood in it. IMO reasonable price range would be 20-50$.

Found this fish at a LFS with no label and staff wasn't sure what it was, so am seeking help from MFK to ID it. Is it a flowerhorn or some other type of hybrid? Male or female? Would it work solo in a 75 gallon? What do you think is a fair price? Thanks in advance!

Looks zz flowerhorn to me. Just one with no head genes. Possible low grade parents with pearls.
