petstores are notorious for mislabeling fish. as the educated fish keepers we are, it's more our own responsibility to know and research what we are buying beforehand, because most of us take petstore IDs/advice with a grain of salt.

not to sound like a prick or anything, but you've had your cat for awhile and never did any research to find out what it really was? ...and you also gave the op a false ID based on a LFS mislabeling? tsk tsk
