Remember redear v.s pumpkinseed thread? it turn out its only pumpkinseed. And you thought my green x pumpkinseed hybrid's either greengill or redear because you ID them based on colors but there are no redears in Minnesota and i dont think my hybrid are greengill because I dont see any bluegills traits, only green and pumpkinseed traits.
Sandtiger, Noto and teleost are experts on ID the natives, they're good and I trust them. (I'm Butch by way) I find your excuses' full of BS.
Young sunfish are often colorless and NOT SEXUALLY MATURE which often involved with the coloration.
