any info whould help me out too, i know nothing about convicts. are these more rare then the normal convicts i see at petco

They are just a variant of the good ole convict. When they pair up they can be nasty to any other fish during breeding. If you have a 20 gallon with some rockwork and caves (Flowerpots) some Giant danios for dither fish at the top you can produce them like rabbits. A very hardy fish.

yeah i guess everyone is pretty sure there convicts, is it worth breeding them? will people want them?
