"Pacu" can refer to any of a dozen different species, but this isn't one of them...

I believe those are cuts, rather than stripes. Found a similar picture here with better resolution. Looks like they've all been sliced with a knife.

This is apparently a Portuguese name for Mylossoma aureum.
