Fish identification

I wouldn't think Krobia, if I remember right, their horizontal band ends at the insertion of the soft dorsal fin and not at the caudal fin like the first pic shows.
 
It’s definitely not Krobia. It looks to be either a Cichlasoma or maybe a really washed-out Aequidens tetramerus.
 
Yes, a washed out tetramerus seems reasonable, there are a number of Aequidens with the dark spot, sandwiched between 2 white/light vertical bands (pallidus, supermaculatus, even michaelli to some extent). Hard to tell its normal coloration is so washed out by the light substrate.
 
My substrate is a light sand. Fish changes colours will his/her mood. When I got this fish, it was the same colour in LFS with dark substrate.
 
Looking at online photos I think it has been correctly identified as Aequidens tetramerus
