Ammonia and Nitrite are all in the zero range. Nitratesc are under .5. I use seachem prime as a dechlorinator. And I've doing water changes every three days.
Food varies betwen cichlid pellets, shrimp brine flakes, and blood worm flakes. I feed my other fish in the other tank the same food and they thrive. It looks like the first day they do some eating but the second day they start hiding and I don't think they eat. And then they die. There's nothing that i've read so far that screams out at me. I know that some young fish can be very difficult to keep, but i have no clue about baby flowerhorns, are they very hardy when young??
Are they actually getting comfy enough in their surroundings to eat or do they die before they even get round to eating? If they are feeding, what are you giving them? Is the batch of food fresh, out of date, maybe off??
Yes plenty of rocks and artificial plantsWhat type of lighting?
How long is your light cycle? FROM ABOUT 7:00 am TO 5:00 pm
How much flow is running through the tank? i HAVE TWO CANISTER FILTERS SO IT IS PRETTY STRONG
Is it located in a high traffic or noise area? No
Do you have any hiding spots for the fish (even a piece of abs pipe)?
