I see you quite a bit in the Flowerhorn section, so I'm guessing that you are somewhat referring to Flowerhorn keepers. I agree with you. I think many people buy their fish to post just to impress others etc. I have much respect for the guy who posts a $10 Flowerhorn/fish that they are excited about. Any working adult can write a check for a nice fish, but there is something admirable with being happy with what you have. Not saying anything negative to the people who buy higher end fish. I'm one of them, just stating that I agree with you to some point. I really think of all my fish like dogs. All 25 have names etc. I have bought some crappy ones on-line, with some higher end ones. I honestly like them all the same. It takes all kind of people to make the world go round, so I'm not sweating the people who want to be in the lime light a bit.
I recently bought another 180 aquarium that I really didn't need. I posted quite a few pics up to all my friends on here, because I am excited about the pickup. So I guess, in a way, I'm a glory hound/glutton as well. I can live with that. All have a wonderful weekend.
