I hate the myth that a 50% water change is equal to two 25% water changes, do the math people!

i think he means if you do a 50% water change then that means (according to the myth) you can do a water change every other week or alittle longer.

puffer_girl, in many birds (Robins) and some fishes (GT, JD, Firemouth) the males are admittedly prettier than females in general, the coloring anyway, and fin extensions maybe

What I meant was that the amount of old water changed does not equal the same amount.

I know some of the males are but not all..... And if you don't know the difference between the two the females are beautiful.

I did have a tank busting pike cichlid, it liked rearranging rocks and sometimes got exhuberant, one night it rammed a rock into the end of the tank hard enough to crack it.
