Does anyone know where I can find a list of what is and isn't legal in my state, California? Things such as rays, aripima, and bow fin. I am guessing that I am S.O.L. because pretty much everything is illegal in my state. YAY CALIFORNIA!

Wow. I surprised I'm allowed to have Bala Sharks. Awe, the Golden state. Thanks guys for the help. This makes things a little more difficult.
Another thing to consider is a new law being accepted by most states when it comes to keeping native fish.
The way it's worded, native animals fall under what is to be considered "natural resources". So if you are caught keeping them alive, it's considered stealing a natural resource. (This is different than sport fishing, then killing them.) I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just putting it out there to be aware of.
