Fish lice has a month long life cycle so it would take a powerful med in a week to eradicate everything which is where dimilin and trichlorfon come from. As fish lice are crustaceans, metro and prazi will not work effectively against them except for flukes, flagella and most internal parasites.

the only lice i saw was taken off the fish and removed from the tank before treatment. i'm going to go ahead and order some dimilin just in case anyways.

I have had 5 tanks infected at once All my rays everything I used jungle pond anchors away and that was the best decision ever! It works great over 6 months later all my fish are still alive and thriving!
