Fish Life span

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you know, koi are depressing...

it frustrates me to know that a dirty fish in a pond swimming in microdebris and eating anything it sees will outlive many of the health conscious, over medicated, over modified, and over altered (ALL in the effort to live longer) human beings. XD

the less complicated something is the less likely it will break.
im sure its very metabolism related too. you know you can live longer just by eating less(im not talking compared over eating and unhealthy diets), but just by eating less you will increase your life span.

well youd have to put that into scale. tell an overweight diabetic to eat less that yes they will live longer. but tell a monk to eat less and he will starve to death.

all this is provided your diet has adequate nutrition theres just less fluff.
one theory is you produce less free radicals that destroy your cells.

another is that having less available energy keeps your cells running more efficiently and better able to cope with normal stresses. if you look the human race now its probably rediculous how many more calories we consume then are ancestors, atleast in most countries.

btw i have seen some fat monks before.
