Welcome to MFK!

Whatever you decide, get some peacock bass! they add colour and movement to your tank. A school at feeding time rocks.

Yeah pbass would be nice. So would a gar, also a smaller sp. of ray would work like histrix or a retic.

I'm thinking 2 s. arowana's or a gar and 1 arowana. The last ones i had stayed top side and im guessing p. bass hang out around the middle, so a wolf should be ok as a bottom fish. If i am wrong please correct me,its been a while since i have had a freshwater pred. set up. My last f water setup i had - c. knife, barracuda,s. arowana, short nose gar,2 magenese, 2 cats and a pleco, and 2 silver dollars. But that was a few years ago and since i have put my extra time learning about s. water. But once again any advise, help, info would be great .thanks!!

i have a clown knife and i love it. they get perty large (30") and now that ive had mine for a while it is active most of the day and stays in the middle and bottom. its a beautiful fish to watch and a fun one to watch feed. in general they are perty passive to other fish (as long as it doesnt think it will fit in its mouth)

A royal clown knife would look good. Not to sure about a wolf fish though.

rays get large dont they?when i looked at s. water rays it seem to me they where a hard animal to raise in a home aquarium, but i have read that it is poss. to keep arowana's in the same tank as a ray.i will look into the r.c.knife dont think i have seen one yet . thanks for all the feed back very good ideas. :)

I wouldnt put the gar with aros because they can fight alot since theyre both surface dwellers. and for the stingrays they arent that hard and they would fit in your tank ok.

Gars ara seldom aggressive with fish to big to eat.
