Fish Memory Spans

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mormyriformes have brain-to-body ratios approaching that of primates. I've never kept any, but it's fun to speculate...

Really it depends on the species of fish, what with over 31,000 species that's like asking "do mammals have good memories" (though there are tons more fish species than mammals). I'm sure all fish species have memories but I'm sure a sturgeon that lives over 100 years has a longer lasting memory than an annual killifish. Anyway, lots of studies have been done.
