so im looking into getting a ball python and leanred about the selective breeding to getting differents morphs? is the different breeds of guppies, betta fish and flower horns the result of the same science? and is there any other fish that they do this too to?

With ball pythons, most morphs are codom/recessive traits. There are a few hybrids (bloodball).
There are guppy morphs and hybrids (crossed with endlers). Same is true for some other variations of livebearers. Flowerhorns are hybrids. People line breed them to bring out traits, but the "base" is a hybrid.
