3 Columbian sharks- The Three Stooges

Convict Breedin pair- Bonnie and Clyde

Goldfish- Mcfatty.

African Cichlid- The Punisher
 
I name my favourite's ,black ghost knife:macka , decorus synodontis:declan, fire eel:feris, senegalis bichir-poly ,did have ornatus birchir that i called pretty poly but had to give her to my bro.don't name all of them though.
 
I collectively refer to my cichlids as my "disciples", but I only name a couple of
fish individually
blind cave tetra- "Stevie" after Stevie Wonder
bujurquina vittata- "Brownie" (before IDing it, I didnt know what to refer to it as)
JD- "Jean Baptiste"

I just name the oddball ones:

My ornate is "big guy"-about 17"
I have a Tapajos II that lost an eye in a fight-Cpt. Jack Sparrow
FW Assellus Puffer-of coarse "P. Diddy"
and a Balzani that I got from Rapps that has a deformed mouth-"Slurpy":)
 
Other than young fry (because no one can distinguish between hundreds of tiny, identical babies), all of the fish in our house have names.

(That's about 70 names to remember!)
 
Only my pacus have names...My wife named then. They are Popeye and Olive Oil. I haven't ever really cared to name any of the fish, but lately I have been catching myself refering to them by name.:nilly:
