Fish Names

at the lfs where i work we a red devil called "eat my face" because she wants to eat my face, a synupspillum named simon, a saratoga jardini named chopper and we used to have a jag called borris but he got sold.

Oh and my wife named Lenny... He looks like the Penguin (Danny DeVito) on batman ;) Pectoral fins.
 
nameing fish is weird to me i just refer to them at the time being but i say that my gold saum is a beast a lot i did name my baby turtle kimeko tho... it was mainly my girlfreind who came up with it... i go through so much stock i dont like to get attached to things...
 
My fish names are:

Jardini = Gill
Light colored ray = Itchy
Dark colored ray = Scratchy
 
My children name their favourite fish.
The largest Clown loach name is Norman and the other smaller clowns are referred to as Norman's minions. The BGK name is Casper, and the gibbiceps pleco's name is Big fish.

Well I really don't name my fish,but I named my largest Severum,Severum and my largest female bichir nessie,after the loch ness monster!
 
I also only name the fish that I can easily tell apart. My female betta's name is Amy and the male (RIP :( ) was named Thomas. I also have one albino tiger barb that got his anal fins torn off...I never really named him but in my mind I think of him as Scar, lol.
 
I name only my favourite fish that i wont gt rid of ever.
My Barramundi's are named Barry Mundi and Barry Manilow, or B1 and B2 for short. My Berny catfish is named Berny (so original), my Lesser salmontail is Barney, my Saratoga is Toga (yet another awesomely original name) and my Murray Cod is Merv, named after the big man himself Merv Hughes. And my turtle is Raphael after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.... I loved that cartoon when I was little.

21/2 inch RD - not sure yet ... but "UNIT" comes to mind
