lol, im a fish nerd, because i like all animals, and fish are the most diverse and widely spread animal in the world, the also have the most species to choose from

btw, i like how lil_stinker switches in his top 10 from cats/dogs to kids lol

I don't really have any idea why, oh yeah I do it for the cool tank decals. That and it was just somthing a lot of kids didn't do when I was younger.

but I like fish cause

they don't pee on the floor
they dont sniff your lap
they dont get on the table & eat the turkey
they dont talk back
they dont ask for the car keys
they dont use my golf clubs
they dont loose my keys
they dont call from the mall to get a ride
they dont send spam email
they dont drink my Dr. Pepper

any fish could fit those standards. a better question, is why do most of us spend hundreds of dollars per fish, when there are cheap fish out there? why do we shoot for the $3,000 dollar asiand aros, $500 dollar motorro rayz, why do we have 100s of G(or thousands for some) ovoted to these under-rated kinds of pets? The anser for me is simply this: its out of the ordinary, odd, no one else around here has it. if someone who does not own fish comes to your house and sees freshwater rays, they will have to stop to pay attention( in my case, dragon goby).
A much simpler anser: I don't care, but my walet sure is empty
