Fish not healing

My cichlid got attacked and they "ate" a pretty good size chunk out around his anas. It's been about a week and starting to look worse instead of healing. I've got salt in the tank naturally.

Any ideas how to treat? The fish has an appetite and I've got it ina breeder box to keep it away from the rest. I don't have a hospital tank setup anymore due to space constraints in my apartment.

I'd get a 5g tank as a hospital tank. You cannot treat a fish separately if you don't have one. In this case, I'd suspect bacterial infection involved in which case Binox or Maracyn is needed.
