Miles,

I appreciate such a comprehensive reply.

We try to do our best!! If we don't have alot of fish instock, it is always important to concentrate on the customer!

I've been going over a few things, and I'm going to have to pass on the Corys. While I'd love to get groups of each, my tanks just aren't setup to accomodate the Corys with regards to water temperature. Since I'm not sure I'll be able to get anything setup in time, I've decided not to chance it. They are, however, stunning fish as you said.

No problem.. I never want my customers to commit to anything until the fish are here and well anyways. Perhaps in the future if I have the Corys available, you will notice them and set-up a tank for them. We also plan on bringing in more of the stunning Orange and Green Lazor cories, they are simply amazing.

I have no problem paying the $60-80 price; I've spent more before. But, there's no way I'd be able to buy a box of them at this point in time. If there's enough demand otherwise, I'd pick up a couple pieces if they looked good pattern wise.

Well Let's see what you think of this batch of Plecos, maybe you will find something you like. We are bringin in LDA31 and L204, which I believe are both Panaques.. I didn't expect you to purchase an entire box of plecos, but it is always nice to know that a couple will go out the door once they arrive. If you think that is a reasonable price for some of these rarer Panaques, then I will begin to bring in some 'medium sized' plecos in a variety. Most of them only ship 8-16 per box, so the landed cost is heavy. I don't necessarily have to Import an entire box of each species too.. Since we are affiliated with the Exporter, we can be alot more flexible in the ways we choose to package and ship.

The Gold Trim Royal definitely sounds interesting, but price will be the determining factor for me. But, given that you're looking to bring in small fish, I doubt price will be that big of a deal. Out of curiosity, any idea what a 4-6" Gold Trim would run in relation to the $60-80 range for the L90s?

I am unsure of what the exact size of the Gold Trim will be.. Likely it will go up for Auctions so we can find out what the price range is going to look like in the future.. I am always accepting offers, but I am guessing the cost will be likely double that of the L90s.. The reason being is even the initial cost of the Royal Pleco is 3x the amount of the Panaque.. Shipping costs will be more as well, as royals will not package togethor in a single bag.. Royals will fit 4 per box, while L90s are 16 per box. We will all have to check him out when it's landed.. I will likely offer a lowball price to MFK members, and if its not boughten up quickly, then it will go to auction.

I'm not sure what river system the Titanic Panaques come out of, but I do know they're Peruvian.

I will ask Miguel about it.. I also talked to him about PAPAMAMA, he said it is a new panaque species and it is very rare.. They are good sized so they ship similiar to the Royals.. I asked him to get me just 1 so we can all find out what it is ;)

Keep in Touch!

Hey miles any chance for any Small Pseudodoras niger ????????

I can get 4"ers, but I didn't plan on it.. Talking with Miguel right now..

They will run around $40+SH, you interested? Would be easy to combine with some of the other awesome oddball catfish we are getting..

I will add them to the order right now if you want..

I'm really holding my breath on the Brachyplatystoma flavicans & Lince cat. I like growing out my fish, too. If a box of lince cats came up within the 3-4'' range I'd buy them all. ;)

The flavicans was Not Available, but I requested it still.. The other catfish you requested was the same deal as well.. Basically any catfish that is big that is available, I am going to try to get..

The lince is going to be big, no matter where you get them :( That is just how they come..

Miles,

I have a very bad feeling (for my wallet, that is!) that I'm going to end up buying way too many of these Panaques you're going to be importing. I'm definitely looking forward to having a shot at the Gold Line... and I'm very curious about the "Papamama" as well.

I personally don't have a problem paying $60-80 if I'm buying quality, but I don't know what the market will set the price at.

Any idea when this shipment will come in?

Steve

We are hoping the first week in November, but we never like to try to jinx ourselves.. So we don't set dates or anythiing ;)

I will slowly bring in Panaques, so you can afford them over time.. :grinyes: ..

Teasers ;)

The first 2 plecos we will be getting in for sure.. The other ones are larger panaques that you can expect in the future..

Enjoy!
