How exactly does that work? Like the process. I am going to Chicago, IL from Las Vegas, NV. Would I have to let them know ahead of time, before going or coming back. Or can I just take it and pay as a carry on item?

I believe i will be heading back with fish, so can anyone help me out here?!

I will think every airline is different and rules change all the time. Best thing to do is call the airline.

Try to get a copy of the policy on fish to. Some here had a situation where the airline told him one thing on the phone and when he got their it was something diffrent. You should maybe call TSA to.

Oh look this actually posted, my phone froze as soon as I clicked "Submit" But okay i will make sure to look for that!

Sorry, but what does TSA mean?

I do it once a month I don't tell the airline anything when I get the TSA check I say I have something unusual they call the supervisor the check my hangs for chemicals, I then walk threw with the fish bags in my hands done! If the fish r alive then the liquid cannot be harmful (it probably dosnt hurt that I'm a Marine)

You can set up a shipment with the air cargo office of the airline you are flying with. As others have said check with the airline first as they will have requirements on packaging and labeling. But it's easy to do and I ship fish all the time.

Thanks,

- Eric
