Would have to remember those options should the problem crop up after the repairs are tested.

That has to be one of the most elaborate DIY W/D's I've ever seen. So many stages!

Just being cautious by over filtering and also the feeders are being keep in the same filter section.

morepics. this is looking awesome. what lighting are you going to use inside?

Have not really decided on that yet, probably fluorescent strip lighting on the ceiling for a start. Will not be putting too much deco on the pond as this is just meant for the aro's, pacu's and few large cichlids. maybe later when the thinking changes.

Nice diagrams of the filtration and elaboration. However, becareful for the plan to keep feeder fishes in the sump. The fishes might get trapped in the filter and die and eventually mess up the water...

I have a 24x8x5ft pond myself if u did read my thread b4. We can only keep strong swimmer fishes in the sump filtration, or else it just matter of time when the feeder fishes i.e. slow and weak swimmer get trapped in the filter and die...

Thanks for your input. Will keep that in mind as the filter are being done up with the compartments using glass and silicon glue. Will be posting some items on this when it's being done next coming days.

And yes have read through your pond thread several times and also posted a number of replies there. Great inspiration for this one .:)

The area between the two filters is quite large. It's 30inches wide by 11 ft long and hopefully the feeders should be ok in there. will have to prehaps put a net across the width of the filter section to prevent trapped fishes.

anyway let see. thanks for your concern.
