FISH ROOM SMELL

Thanks for all your response, the bad news is, my 125gal is down the hall from our bedroom, shes passes the room everyday, and if i close the door, it's worse...Wish me luck....................I try to burn a lot of Incense, but the Fabreeze may also do the trick.

massivore pellets always make my tank smell .. so i never feed the tank in my room before bed .. always do it when i wake up so i dont have to smell it when i sleep ...

Funny, fabreeze is the name of my ball python... :D

I'm not sure if carbon will help but you might just want to put in it your filters for a few days if theirs anything in your tank water that is causing the smell.

what kind of smell is it? is it fishy or a water-like smell? you might want to try an ionizer. it runs off of electric current and removes unwanted odors.

My 2 tanks smelled really bad for the first week. But that was just the ammonia and cycling process. I put carbon in the filters for both of the tanks and it stopped smelling like 3 hours later. Check your ammonia and nitrite levels. Don't feed as much. Do more regular water changes (once a day, small amounts). Remove un-eaten food. Take out and dead plants or fish immediately. That's all i can think of right now

How often and how much are you doing in water changes?
