I got 100 block filters from swiss tropicals to replace my old ATI sponges. These are super efficient and have a far superior lift tube. Going Tuesday to the metal yard to get the raw materials to weld up the next sets of racks

Excellent, love the updates!!

I've got a couple of the block filters from Swiss Tropicals and love them. I actually prefer the Mattenfilter style though as it is cleaner looking and it is so much easier to catch livestock because you don't have to chase them around the block filter.

How are you maintaining tank temperatures - individual heaters, room heater or just your home heating system?
