Fish RTC can be kept with :)

Hey Guys.

I know theres a few of these all over the place, was hoping we could get one big post going with all the fish people have successfully kept there RTC with long term and what size tank.

I have just acquired one a few weeks ago (a bit hard to get down here) trying to figure out what works.

So far I have found

- Pacu

- ID sharks

- Other large cats

- Flag tails sometimes

- Arowana Larger then the RTC

Care to chip in?

And this is the future tank Yes I read the sticky and made sure I have a right sized tank first =D (8x4x3 thonged glass too so he cant crack it!)

Thanks mate, Little bugger hardly eats but he keeps growing and shredding his slime coat, the water is prefect but so I think his just growing and growing. swear his an extra 2-3 inches bigger in 2 weeks lol.

Has anyone tried cigar sharks with there rtc? I am super keen to get the ball rolling on my 8x4 but dont want to throw in expensive food lol.

I've been keeping mine with a similar sized alligator gar for a few months now. No aggression whatsoever.

I got mine at the same size its 4' now. I got it in the beginning of the spring. I recently moved him and his 4' tsn buddy to a huge pond.

It will eat almost anything that is even a little bit smaller. I had one at 5'' eat a TSN that was 4''. He also grew like an inch a week and left turds in the tank like a small dog.

awesome setup dude i got a 5,000 gal pond with two of these guys, they're in with 12" tilapia and oscars also 19" pacus here is a video of me feeding the other fish in the tank with them ![YT]1BzckxTcBsc[/YT]
