Fish-Safe Cement?

lol, how would i remove a concrete slab that wasn't stuck to the bottom of the tank? either way would make for one hell of a project!

i don't plan on removing it anyways, i don't see any reason to. if i get sick of it, i'll just re-tile or put gravel over top.

do you think cement would stick to glass anyway, i have almost no experience with the stuff ??

I would use Great Stuff Pond and Stone Foam.

It's expanding, doesn't weigh much at all, easy to shape, and is 100% fish safe and doesn't leach like cement can. Just spray, let cure for a day or two, carve flat and you're good to go.
