Lol, that's the River Wonders guy... I don't actually see why he's being charged though. The news said "protected" species, when I'm pretty sure rays and piranha's are far from protected.

Probably just writing for dramatic effect, but there is always the risk of popular swimming areas being filled with stinger-wielding rays. Sounds scarier than it is.

But yeah, a lot of rays would thrive in Cali waters and it's good that they're illegal there IMO.
