If I was to make a 2,000 gallon pond either indoor or outdoor and wanted to stock it with just one large fish what size could it be? The size of the pond would be roughly 11'x8'x4'. Any input would help.

Red tail cat or a tiger shovel nose.

Indoor is better as it's cold during the colder months and Some fishes are tropical need warm water. Big cats and Cichlids work. Kois are always good but you'll have to consider the filteration setup as waste load is a big factor.

I appreciate the input but noticed I left out some information I am looking for the maximum size of a fish it could heathly hold. You know like a 5' ft fish or whatever. Any help would be apprecated

It would all depend on your filtration.

I would do a monster redtail cat. Like everyone said its all about filtration let us know what filtration u got planned. And we will try to find u a good match!

I'm going with a DIY which one I'm not sure yet I still have to look into that. I'm going to try and do the best filter I can since I'm a firm believer of over filtration

depends on the fish. With one fish in a pond that big, growth should not be a problem.

I mean I know i'm probably going to catch a lot of heat for this but either a wallago leeri or a wels is what I'm looking for
