Alright,
So my plan is to get a 150/125 gallon tank as soon as I find a great deal on Craigslist or something. And I need help stocking I think I have got it figured out but I am not too sure.

Stocking:

1 BGK (already own it, it is center fish)

5 Clown Loaches (already own them)

4 Pictus Catfish

10 Congo Tetras

5 Redline Rasboras

5 Mystery Snails
Now for the tank.
I will be having a large piece of driftwood (already in my 55)

And I want to make this tank a planted aquarium...
I plan on getting some glass lids.
And getting some full spectrum light
bars.
I am also thinking either sponge filters or a canister filter.
Would I need a CO2 injector?

Thanks for input :D

Plants used and power of lights will dictate whether co2 or not.

Plants and large fish dont always work out together as they have tendency to uproot things... so you'll need to plan carefully what you want to do and how you want to do it before deciding on what lights to use and if you should be using Co2 etc...

Well I decided on the plants (according to wildfya they don't need extra CO2 )

And the BGK is gentle so I think the will be fine

I have decided on Nicrew Classic LED

Sounds good so far, I also recommend cherry barbs as they r hardy and plant safe

Well I already have the fish Stocking and I really like the fish I chose. So thanks but I thing I will stick to my stocking
:)

Well, I have decided that instead of going all out. I am going to keep my 55 and just buy the equipment and attempt making it a planted tank. Instead of buying like 4 x $ worth of equipment

That nicrew is definitely not going to give you enough PAR to grow aquatic plants. Lighting is worth spending a little more on!

This is quite true, its worth researching and finding out what will work best with your budget whether that be T5 / T5HO or LED / CREE

Yeah, depending on budget I recommend the Fluval Fresh and plant 2.0 (or newer 3.0, but the par is actually lower than the 2.0). I have this on a heavily planted and fertilized 29g and still had to turn the light down some due to algae growth.

On a tighter budget, I recommend Beamswork FA spec 1w. I run this on my 55g that has mostly low light plants and it grows them just fine.
