If you ever come out to Suffolk County, "AQUA-HUT" is located in Coram, NY. Exit #64 North off the Long Island Expressway. Great prices on their live stock and dry goods. All they sell is aquarium goods as the name implies. There is also "MAGIC ISLE" in the Center Reach Mall in Center Reach which has a very nice selection, but he's pretty steep with prices on everything.

I've been to almost ever worthy fish store in NJ and shark aquarium IS the best. you wont find any much better in NYC in my opinion. I was just at a place called Golden Aquatics in Elmhurst, right near the bronx. they had some decent stuff and claimed they could get me true platinum silvers for 3,000. had some amazing flowerhorns.
