I got a 12" silver arowana, 7-8" Redtail catfish, and a 4-5" pleco on a 100G tank, what do you guys think I should add next? Im planning to remove my pleco because im afraid the redtail might eat it soon..

Thanks guys!

I guess it depends on what your plans are for the current stock? Are you buying a bigger tank? creating a pond? I agree with the other posters you will need a much bigger tank as these fish grow, but for now you're hardly overstocked. Anyways I would add another cat like a tsn if it was me.

But what other fish can you suggest i could add to them that can be a stress buster like arowana and RTC? I really wanted to only have a redtail and arowana but my mom told be that its badluck in fengshui to have an even number of fish in one tank..so I got a pleco but its growing too slow compared to the RTC thas why im worrying the rtc will eat it after a few more weeks..
Yeah I got a pond in our backyard, planning to move the redtail when it reaches 12".. but do you guys think it'll be alright to mix it with koi's?
Thanks!

According to fengshui, yes... your pond will end up with an odd number of fish after adding the rtc, making your mom extremely happy. I say go for it.

lol... rtc will eat every koi under a foot in a year!-0 once he is 3 ft he will be alone!

Sell the RTC and the aro and buy more suitable species for your set up...

100g isn't even close to what either of those fish kept alone let alone a comm tank. You should upgrade to a much bigger tank (and it's still unlikely to be suitable for the RTC) or re-think your plans.

Sorry to put a downer on it but that's how it is, an RTC is a dream fish of mine but I can't afford what it needs either :(

You would get away with keeping a jardini arowana for a while but would still need to upgrade eventually

Hopefully it's a pretty decent sized pond and those are some pretty decent sized koi... As for tankmates though... anything that will get very large relatively quickly... pacu, other large catfish, gars, large cichlids, etc. But anything that is going to work long term with a redtail is going to need a big enclosure as well. The more you add, the more space you are eventually going to need to provide. If your pond is quite large though, and isn't too heavily stocked already, then I guess that shouldn't be a problem.

Haha I dont mind, they're my uncle's because his koi's are too big for his tank at home so he transferred it to our pond..haha!
