feeder koi it is then lol... how bigs the pond? btw the aro will get eaten very soon aswell! alligator gar and giant snakehead will grow at a similar speed if you are really intent on making a killer pred pond but sell the koi b4 as its a bit unfair.

Haha I know, I already told my uncle I got a rtc and il be moving it to the pond soon, told him to find a new pond for his fishes.. pond's not that big tho, a little bit more than 8ft diameter and 3ft high, wud that be good for rtc's? I dont like alligator gar and snakeheads, they kinda freak me out, lol my friend got a big snakehead and saw it ate a fish while its still inside the net, ripped the net and ate the fish in a blink of an eye.. planning to keep the silver aro in the tank indoors..

That pond is pretty much a bare minimum for a lone rtc I would say, if you think when he is 3.5ft it will be pretty tight...

gg are one of my all time favourites!-) too bad they get so darn big, been keeping an eye out for a decent sized rtgg myself!

Il probably extend it before I transfer.. thanks for the heads up!

You'll have to extent it to something like 16'x8' to properly house the redtail catfish, but if you dont have room to make it that size, get it as big as you can, a properly housed redtail should max out at around 4'.
There are a couple of people keeping silver arowana with there redtail catfish. There is one on youtube called "MyAquaticDiary".

I dont think I can have a 16x8 pond, il probly have 12' max.. but il see what I can do.. thanks karl!
