i am sure this has been going on for a while with aros in asia and probably other expensive fish too
That's really cool. I bet there isn't many vets that could perform sugery on fish. It must be really expensive.

yep its because of poor water quality ( high nitrates, and high d.o.c)
if caught early enough it can be reversed
if not, surgery must be done to fix it
and this surgery doesent need a vet
you can do it in your own home if you know how.
